Biketoberfest 2026 runs Thursday, October 15 through Sunday, October 18. It’s the rally’s 34th year. Most of it happens in two places: Main Street in Daytona Beach, and out on US-1 in Ormond Beach at Destination Daytona, the complex around the big Harley-Davidson dealership where the vendors, bands and rally crowd collect. Daytona International Speedway runs its own events on top of that.
We’re a father-and-son team that has looked after vacation rentals in Daytona Beach since 2019. What follows comes straight from The Local Table, the guide we hand our own guests. It isn’t a ranking. It’s where we’d point you, grouped by the part of town you’re likely to be standing in.
Main Street
On Main Street itself, the gyro stands at any of the big bars are always a good call. When you want to sit down, Beach Street is just across the Main Street Bridge.
MK’s Beach Street
A strong burger and excellent pretzels. The Reuben is the underrated order.
Chart House Beach Street
Take a table on the lower level for the water. Burgers and shared plates, and the happy hour sliders are worth timing your afternoon around.
Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse Beach Street
For the night you want a proper sit-down dinner. In our opinion, one of the best meals in Daytona. The crab cake is exceptional, and The Earnhardt — crab, asparagus, béarnaise — is the order. The blackened sea bass is the other.
Mama Foo Foo Halifax Marina, Basin St
Craft cocktails, shareable plates, the marina outside. It becomes a full nightclub on Friday and Saturday nights, so check mffdaytona.com before you go.
If you’re downtown in daylight, Angell & Phelps Chocolate Factory is on Beach Street as well, with free tours and free samples.
Near the Speedway
Tiano’s By the Speedway
One of our favorite Italian spots in Daytona. The fettuccine is outstanding, the pizza is excellent, and the house Caesar earns its place.
Hooters Near the Speedway
Out by the track, and easy with a group.
Wing House Near the Speedway
Out there as well, for wings close to the Speedway.
One Daytona, the shopping and dining complex across from the Speedway, is the easy fallback if you’d rather not leave the area.
The beachside
Aria Pizza Bellair, across from Daytona Beach Resort
One of our top pizza picks in town, and it sits right across the street from the building. The ranch deserves its own mention.
Ocean Deck Oceanfront
Casual, with strong wings and burgers and one of the better water views in Daytona.
Genovese’s Beachside
Reliable. The fettuccine without meat or the café combo pizza. The penne bake is excellent and large enough for two.
Peppers Daytona
Carne asada tacos are the reason to go. The chips, salsa and rice are all strong, so don’t rush through them.
Riptides Daytona
A good burger, but the black bean soup might be the better reason to go.
Charlie Horse Daytona
Get the extra-blackened pangassi fish sandwich or the fried buffalo shrimp basket. Honestly, get both and split them.
After dinner, the Seabreeze strip is worth a walk, wherever the night ends.
South to Ponce Inlet
Down the Hatch Ponce Inlet
Begin with the oysters, then anything fried or blackened, seafood or chicken. On the water, and good in any season. The Ponce Inlet Lighthouse stands next door.
Racing’s North Turn Ponce Inlet
Good wings in a place with real history. Worth the ride down.
Boondocks Wilbur-by-the-Sea, on the Halifax
An open-air tiki bar on the river. Fish sandwiches and fried baskets, and the burgers are better than you’d expect.
North to Ormond Beach
SoNapa Grille Ormond Beach
A sit-down dinner to end the day on after a run up the coast.
River Grille Ormond Beach, on the Tomoka River
A Cajun waterfront spot most people never find. Some of the best fried seafood and hush puppies we’ve had anywhere.
Ormond Garage Ormond Beach, W Granada
A guest sent us here, and they were right: the pork belly burger with a little extra sauce, and the pretzels with cheese to start.

Another guest discovery. The oysters are what they wrote home about.
The Grind Ormond Beach, W Granada
The gastropub with the Kona Tiki Bar out back. Fish tacos extra blackened, and the spinach dip is better than you’d expect. Good with a group.

Red Bud Cafe Daytona
Where Conrad starts most mornings. Order the breakfast special.
Steve’s Daytona
Local and without frills. Excellent pancakes, and that’s really all you need.
Pat’s Riverfront Cafe Near Dunlawton
Cash only, no exceptions. The breakfast sandwich is excellent. Very old Daytona — go for the experience as much as the food.
